But thank God, who is always leading us around through Christ as if we were in a parade. He releases the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere through us. We smell like the aroma of Christ's offering to God...
2 Corinthians 2:14-15 CEB
An aroma is an interesting thing isn't it. 
What comes to mind for you?
Fresh bread?
The sea?
Curry?
Freshly mown grass?
After the rain?
Is it a place, a favourite food that is being cooked?
An aroma kind of permeates a space, it's just there, and it's good. 
Paul is using this analogy of an aroma being us. 
And who we are, is like the aroma of who Jesus is. 
Permating the places that we live, work, study, do business in, where we play and re-create.
I wonder what the aroma is that I bring, or what lingers after I leave? 
Some days it's definitely not the aroma of Jesus! 
As we let Him in more and more, may His aroma be what we bring and what we leave in the spaces we inhabit.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
