For all of Solomons wisdom, some of the Proverbs are a direct copy from God's law - in this case Leviticus 19:35-36. Who would've thought Leviticus was relevant to us today! This is about being honest in our dealings. Honest in business. Don't cheat your customer. Maybe there's a broader context we can apply this in...when there is a power imbalance...how do you use your authority, power, influence?
