Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven... Philippians 1:27 NLT If you get the opportunity to travel...go... And when you're away overseas you always know that you have a place called "home", a country you belong in...and when travelling in a way we represent our country & what it's about. Paul says to live as a citizen of heaven! A place to call "home", & a place we represent...represent what heaven is about...how well am I representing the kingdom? I've got a home...and one day I'm going there... #represent #kingdomvalues #loveGod #lovepeople #onedayIamgoinghome

Friday! Proverbs! Be wise, my son, and bring joy to my heart; then I can answer anyone who treats me with contempt. Proverbs 27:11 NIV At one level this is straight forward...if u have kids you want them to make good choices in life as it reflects on the choices u make as parents. And then we're all someone's child, so there's an element where we want our parents to be proud of us... But what if this is God talking to us. Make wise choices because that gives God joy! Am I representing God's family well? Does my life bring joy to God's heart, so that God isn't brought into contempt by the way I live? The everyday choices to love people, to care, to be kind, patient, forgiving...this brings joy to God #proverbs #wisdom #somethingtochewon #represent

Acts 1:8 ESV ...and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Jesus called his team in Acts to represent Him. To be his witness. To his truth, grace and...resurrection. That's what mission is and what being a missionary is. Representing Jesus in this world. Loving, giving, healing, teaching, sharing...walking around in sandals...and where? Jerusalem = my town, my place Judea = my country Samaria = my enemies country the end of the earth = everywhere else So be a missionary by representing Jesus wherever you are, wherever you have been called...whatever you face today... #represent #mission #beamissionary #wordsofJesus #lovepeople

Acts 1:8 ESV But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you... Jesus. Risen. Alive. Promises that his Spirit, will somehow become part of us, working in our lives as an agent of change, of transformation, making us more like Jesus...from the inside...and this is all part of his kingdom work...as we are changed, we reflect his love and grace to those around us, we make choices in our lives to bless others rather than chase the riches of this world, we choose to give, to love, to represent God, to be his hands and feet in the everyday, the mundane, & in the extraordinary... #wordsofJesus #represent #embassyofthekingdom
