Friday! Proverbs! The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord . Proverbs 16:33 ESV I don't know if Solomon threw this in as a brain teaser to close off the chapter or what... We get to roll the dice, but God  already knows the numbers that will come up! The only way this works is that we have free choice, and, at the same time, God knows the outcome. I don't know how that works, but it seems that it's true. We have free will. Yet God is sovereign. When life seems unfair, we can be assured that God is in control, that His purposes will be worked out, that we're not alone in this, we're part of His Big Story...and that means you're dearly loved.
