Psalm 100:5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever, His faithfulness continues through all generations. The promise that God will never stop loving us is quite extraordinary; we have done nothing to deserve this love and yet He loves us all unconditionally. Even though this verse was written such a long time ago it applies to/includes us- we are a generation and Gods promises are for us and all who are to come. I am reminded of a line in my favourite song at the moment 'Oceans' which says- You have never failed us and you won't start now. It is awesome to think of all of the ways God has been faithful throughout history and to realise that this is the same God who loves you and me.
