Numbers 13:1-2, 21 NLT Sometimes I wonder why I don't "get" God. He is distant. I don't know Jesus. His words are not alive to me. I don't hear from Him. I listen to other people talk about God's word, but hardly read it. The psalmist talks of hiding God's word in my heart but I don't put much real effort into memorising it. I read about or hear about or watch others journey with God. Church can become an experience. A good one. But an experience And I find I've become a consumer. But not of The Word Yesterday we heard from Caleb. He went to the land and had a look for himself. And at 4am I had this realisation...I need to be like Caleb and go and have a look for myself. Read God's word directly and consistently. Listen to it on my commute. Memorise it. Caleb spent 40 day...
