When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, 

"It is finished."

Then bowing his head, he gave up his spirit.

This is love.

That Jesus, God's Son, the One who was with God in the beginning, who is God, 

entered the story not with power, but constrained,

humble,

small,

vulnerable, 

became like us, 

and stayed the course.

The course that took him here.

This is love

That Jesus gave up His life, voluntary suffering, for us.

This is love

That the author of Life, stepped into death.

This is love

That Light allowed itself to be swallowed by darkness.

And for what?

The only reason is that people are important to Him, loved by Him.

That He wants us.

This is Love.

And it's personal 

He loves you.

He loves me.

It's quite a thing to sit with that someone has already given his life for me.

That somehow I'm worth it. 

That you are worth it
