The discerning sets his face toward wisdom, but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.

Where is Jesus in this?
He is the discerning
His face is set towards wisdom.
John 5:19 tells us Jesus does what he sees the Father doing. His face is towards the Father.
Jesus regularly took time out to pray - to his heavenly father - that's where his face was set.
Which leaves me in the place of the fool with my eyes anywhere but...
And that's why Jesus came, a representation of God in flesh so we can have a focal point. Not a place to look to, but a person.
It's about our orientation.
To choose in the small and the big things of life to look less at the "ends of the Earth" and more towards Jesus...small steps... small choices...so that we might be transformed, changed, bit by bit, to be more like Him....

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
