Friday! Proverbs!
A wicked man receives a bribe from the [hidden] pocket to pervert the ways of justice.
Proverbs 17:23 AMP
Match fixing
Contracts that go to those paying
Political corruption
We don't have to look far to see the truth in this Proverb being worked out in the world.

I'm called to be kind.
But the voice in the hidden pocket says "they aren't kind"

I create my own justice.
Because the voice in the hidden pocket bribes me with my own selfishness.
Ouch
The payoff is what's easier and more pleasant for me.
I can actively ask God's Spirit to work in the hidden pocket of my heart...or not.
