See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, 

that we 

would be named 

and called 

and counted 

the children of God!

And so we are!

Our daughter worked at Door of Hope in Johannesburg for a few months several years ago. A place where abandoned babies were nurtured until they were adopted by their "forever family".

These young children didn't understand the position that they were in.

Adoptive parents did all the work. Travelled, paid, went thru all the paperwork and processes, and chose a small person to join their family. 

Some were chosen even though they had a disability, were HIV positive. They weren't chosen because of how well dressed they were that day or how well they behaved.

They were chosen because their "forever family" loved them. 

We, you, me, have been seen, and named, and called Children of God.

Chosen.

Adopted.

And here we belong.

Not because of how we look today, what we did or will do, but because our Heavenly Father, our forever family, loves. 

Loves you.

He's done all the work.
