We want to be useful.
Fruitful.
We want our knowledge of Jesus to grow.
Stuff gets in the way though right?
Our own thinking, our circumstances, the pressures of this world, our enemy and his lies.
This verse points us back, back to Peter's pizza of ingredients, and points us forward with the call to grab them all, and to grab more and more.
This is about our trajectory.
Our direction.
It's not about how fast we grow, but are we heading in the right direction.
Small steps.
Increasing measure.
Some are about looking up to God, and some about looking out to others, and we need to grab hold of more and more of all of these things...

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
