For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge, 

knowledge with self-control, 

self-control with endurance,

endurance with godliness

godliness with brotherly affection, 

and brotherly affection with love.

2 Peter 1:5-6 CSB

Love are the final ingredients. Love for one another, and the agape love of God that He also wants for us to find and find a way to express.

This is the love that Jesus expressed by walking around with his team, feeding people, teaching, healing, and the love that took Him to the cross, to "spend himself" completely, to give himself, to submit to destruction and separation from God.

So that 

We can find freedom.

So that

We can be renewed

So that 

We can be called children of God 

This is the love that Peter wants us to know and to live out. The love that changes us, and changes the world.
