Whoever mocks the poor shows contempt for their Maker; whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished.
Proverbs 17:5 NIV
This proverb makes me sit up and think about my attitude towards others, but it also reveals a couple of things about God...
He loves people regardless of their circumstances.
He knows how I live and what's coming out of my mouth...that there's consequences to what I have to say, the way I treat people made in His image.

I wanted to "fix" it.
But we're going to try and help them walk thru this.
In a way, the bully is showing contempt for this person's friends and family.
God hates sin
And loves us
I've got to trust him that He will sort it all.
I'm grateful that He made a way for me, a mocker and a gloater, and that one day, all will be made new...
