She said to her mistress, "If only my master would see the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy."
2 Kings 5:3 NIV
Faith full
Brave
Compassionate
Hope filled
Despite being a slave living in enemy territory, she was filled with hope.
God would work. She must've seen that happen before, where God had been at work, or heard first hand of what God had done.
Hope changes the way we see the world, our circumstances, and the people in our lives.
What was her hope in?
In God.
In Him she placed her faith, her hope, and that let her live compassionately and bravely.
One day we'll get to meet her - for now let's choose to live like her :)
Our hope is in another servant.
Who came with a message of hope
Who came with a heart of compassion
And faith in his heavenly father.
Who not only risked it all, but lost, so that we might win

Not only that but Jesus was somehow the agent of everything that has been made in the physical, social, and spiritual. Jesus is at the centre of it all. Walking around Jesus. Cooking fish for breakfast Jesus. Heart aching as he ...
