David left Gath and escaped to the cave of Adullam. When his brothers and his Father's household heard about it they went down to him there.
All those who were in distress or in debt or discontented gathered around him...
1 Samuel 22:1-2 NIV

Samuel gives context around when Ps34 was written.
David called out and was rescued.
What did his rescue look like?
Living in a cave
And all the people who were in trouble, in need, under pressure and unhappy came to him...
I want rescue on my terms.
Get me out of here.
Away
Away from my troubles
To somewhere better for me
More comfortable for me
Save me
And instead.
God sent people in need.

On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram... March 15 was the last day we looked at Abram's story...he was questioning God and this is God's response...sacrifices and smoke and fire and a covenant...a promise... Isn't that what we crave for sometimes? God, if only you'd just show me smoke & fire, a burning bush a sign, miracle, healing...then all my questions would disappear...all my doubts would be gone... 2moro we'll see Abram's response but I think God values our faith in spite of our questions and doubts. That we choose Him anyway #faith
