If you're still wrestling with NY resolutions, this could easily be Pauls:

My hope is fully in the gospel, the good news of Jesus
My resolution is to be courageous in sharing that with others
My resolution is to live out the gospel in everything I do.
No matter what the consequences or circumstances of my life.

Paul was literally facing death. He'd just asked for prayer as he was chained to a Roman soldier in prison.
No matter what my circumstances or the consequences...the gospel, the cross, who Jesus is, his love for us, his death for us to make a way... Paul was sure that the Truth would not let him down, that this was the path to Life for himself, and for everyone.
Will you and I be brave enough to have NY resolutions that include any of this?
