Yes it's Friday!

The righteous who walks in his integrity - blessed are his children after him!

Proverbs 20:7 ESV

The word translated integrity here is:

completeness, integrity, also part of the high priest's breastplate

In Eph 6 a key piece of the armour of God is the breastplate of righteousness.

While this proverb was written hundreds of years before Jesus, it points us to him.

There is only one who walked righteous.

We are the blessed children.

Children of God.

Whether our parents were good examples of Jesus or not, if we are the chosen, adopted, children of the Righteous One because of the life he lived, and the death he died, to make a way for us. 

As a result, we get to put on the the great high priest's breastplate, of righteousness. 

No matter what we face today, we get to walk in that.
