What was the hunger that drove Jesus?
What was it that pushed him on...when he wanted to bail out in the garden of Gethsemane.. what was it that compelled him to tolerate the beatings, the humiliation, and the cross?
What was the hunger that drove him to absorb our sin?
All of it.
It was Love.
Love that had (& has) an object, a direction and a goal.
A desire.
And that is us.
People.
You and I
We are.
Wow.
He didn't have to, but chose to, because He Loves You.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
