Not Peters finest moment... but at least I'm not alone in "not getting it"...sometimes we miss Jesus point, but, here he goes on to make it crystal clear...
Food is just food.
The rules around food were to point you towards God. To orient your heart towards him.
It's not the rules, not keeping the rules, but the heart... always our heart.
Lord may today my heart be oriented towards you, and then the things I do and say will reflect that.
