...the news of his arrival spread quickly throughout the whole area, and soon people were bringing all their sick to be healed. They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed.

We all know someone we'd love to see healed.
Imagine the clamour and the crowds...just to get a touch.
Some touched him and went on their way, & others would have looked in His eyes and really got it.
Seen the love that bought God to earth.
I think Jesus knew it was temporary. Healing of today's pain. Today's hurt.
Tomorrow there could well be something new... he was happy to heal today...but in his humanity knew he wouldn't be there tomorrow - but this was a taster of the new kingdom where all pain and hurt is swallowed up...consumed finally by the love that took Jesus to the cross
