Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ.

For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, 
to be holy and blameless in love before him.
Ephesians 1:3-4 CSB 
Not only are you seen and known from before time, chosen and loved, you are seen complete, whole, in all that you were designed to be.
Holy.
Blameless.
It's so easy to see ourselves in the opposite of these things, but that's not how God sees you.
He is Love.
And He, the holy, righteous, blameless one, sees us, sees you, as holy.
As blameless.
Is God naive? Blinded by love? 
Because I'm not like that.
It's the cross that changes everything.
From before time Yahweh saw you in all your potential, in all your goodness, and the cross is the way that this becomes reality.
At the cross where Jesus' holiness and blamelessness became ours. 
Yours.
Mine.
Yahweh is not blinded by love, it's the radiance of His love that blasts away the blame and the unholy parts of us. 
Jesus takes them onto, into himself, and we are set free.
Free. :)

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. Colossians 1:15-16 NLT OK so this is an English translation of a letter Paul wrote to a church 2,000 years ago, but does it feel like Paul is wrestling with words and ideas to try and capture all of who Jesus is, of who God is, of how does it work that the walking around Jesus was also there before the beginning of the beginning of everything we can see and touch and know.
