In this way, 
the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you,
so that
you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:6-7 CSB
The "revelation" of Jesus. This word is an unveiling like a statue that is covered and will be revealed. 
The statue is here, yet not.
As we wait for that final revealing of Jesus, we, the church, together, have the spiritual gifts. 
Not me.
We.
Together we lack nothing.
This passage starts "in this way"...in what way?
Go back 2 verses and it's there. 
That way is grace.
Grace.
We can't earn it, and we're not supposed to try. 
It's free, but we couldn't pay for it anyway.
We look back to the Grace given to us in Jesus, we look forward to his revealing, and we can live now in the fullness of Gods spiritual gifts. 
We 
The church.
Together, imperfect, messy, messed up people,  somehow together looking forward in hope, resting in Grace.

Genesis 15.8-18.ESV But he said O Lord God , how am I to know that I shall possess it? ...When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces. On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram... March 15 was the last day we looked at Abram's story...he was questioning God and this is God's response...sacrifices and smoke and fire and a covenant...a promise... Isn't that what we crave for sometimes? God, if only you'd just show me smoke & fire, a burning bush a sign, miracle, healing...then all my questions would disappear...all my doubts would be gone... 2moro we'll see Abram's response but I think God values our faith in spite of our questions and doubts. That we choose Him anyway #faith
