Why is there money in the hand of a fool to buy wisdom, when he has no common sense or even a heart for it?

When I look for Jesus in this proverb, he is there.
He's there quietly asking about my heart.
Do you have a heart for wisdom?
My wisdom.
My kingdom
My upside-down kingdom
He gently reminds me that I have the purchase price in my hand because He provided it.
At the Cross.
He whispers that Christmas is not what you've let it become. Without the Cross, well, it wouldn't mean anything at all.
He's quiet though
Humble
Doesn't push it
He quietly asks in all the noise and hustle, the billboards and the sales, the shopping and the running...do you see me?
Do you have a heart for me?

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
