Friday! Proverbs!
He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the Lord .
Proverbs 17:15 ESV
An abomination!
That is strong language! Doesn't leave any wriggle room.
God hates injustice.
How do we justify the wicked?
We believe their delusions. We cut them slack because they're powerful, or like us, or we know them.
We minimise what they've done.
So don't
Don't justify the wicked, the perpetrator.
God hates injustice
And loves justice
Do stand up for, stand beside, walk with, advocate for, the hurt, the broken, the powerless...the victim...the innocent.
If this is God's heart, it needs to be mine too.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
