I wonder about the mindset of people who do terrible things like the killing of so many in Nice this week.
And then James lays bare the heart of man
We want what we don't have.
I want what you have.
And when that heart is unchecked, heartache and tragedy unfold in someone else's life.
And yet...I have the same desires, the same thing in the human heart that fuels corruption, war, terror, is in me...cos sometimes I want what you have, what I don't have...we all need the gospel of grace to restrain and move us to be more like Jesus. In Him is freedom from the tyranny of our own heart...
