Philippians 1:1 NIV
So Philippians is a letter written to a church in what is now Greece. Google says it's 17 degrees there & 73% humidity at 9:23pm. The city was established in 356BC by (guess who) Philip II.
How does it start?
Paul & Timothy together writing this. A team. We need teams, need others to do life with, do ministry with, even if it's just one who is on the same page as us.
How do they describe themselves?
As servants of Jesus.
Would I ever be brave enough to say that? To introduce myself as that?
What does a servant do?
The work of the one they serve

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
