Sunday Psalms;
He holds in his hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains.
The sea belongs to him, for he made it.
His hands formed the dry land, too.
Come,
let us worship and bow down.
Let us kneel before the Lord our maker,
for
he
is
our
God.
Psalms 95:4-7NLT
This Psalm invites us to take a different perspective from what we see on the ground. I don't think the writer of this song had the opportunity to fly in a plane, or see an image of the earth from space, but does know what a shift in perspective can do...and we're invited to see creation, and in that seeing, to see the Creator.
Perhaps today we're just invited to see differently, and in that seeing, simply to honour and worship the Creator.
