I'm not sure what it would be like singing this song, but it's hard to miss David's take on God's holiness and justice. 
And there are days when I just want to see God's justice worked out, to see His holiness hit hard.
And then I know that I have the seeds of all of the things David highlights in my heart, and from time to time they've been in my thoughts and actions too, and I find that I am in need of Grace, that there is no way that I can stand before a holy God in my own righteousness.
So while I love God's holiness, when I consider it, I guess that is an aspect of "fearing God". 
And I'm grateful for Grace.
