Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian slave named Hagar; so she said to Abram,
"The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her."
Abram agreed to what Sarai said...
Genesis 16:1-3 NIV
Abram not only made dumb decisions on his own, but also when they were the ideas of others.
No mention of seeking God now.
Keep seeking God.
If we're struggling with what next, where to, why doesn't God answer...keep seeking Him, keep coming back to church, worshipping together.
Abram & Sarai had been there for 10 years, he was 86 years old...they just decided to make their own way...
I'm the same. God sort this out for me. Now is good.
And if you don't, well I'll just forget what I know about you, your call on my life, living in a way that honours you...I can't wait for you God, get with my programme...
When God isn't answering, keep seeking Him anyway, keep worshipping anyway

Joseph replied..."Dont you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now - life for many people..." Genesis 50:19-20 MSG The view from the drone. The different perspective. "God has been at work in my life despite, in fact within the hatred that you had towards me. Even though I couldn't always see it, I kept trusting Him, even when He was silent, when all hope seemed lost... God was at work... Can you see that now?" #faith #faithinthedark
