From the Negev he went from place to place until he came to Bethel, to the place between Bethel and Ai where his tent had been earlier and where he had first built an altar. There Abram called on the name of the Lord .

Ever felt like life's going in circle?
Abram did.
He landed back in a place he'd left quite some time earlier.
Was this where his journey was supposed to end?
Was this where God wanted him?
Did he think "I'm getting to old for this..."
"Why doesn't God make this clearer?"
Who knows what was going on in Abram's heart and mind... except this:
He called out to God.
He went to church.
And prayed.
When our life is going in circles, not making any progress, when God seems silent...go to church, pray, call out to Him

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
