Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg...
...Then Peter said, "... what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk..."
While the man held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them...
Acts 3:2,6,11NIV
You can read the whole story in Acts 3 of this severely disabled man who was healed.
"While the man held on to Peter and John..."
Just a glimpse of the emotion that must've been flowing thru him as he realised he'd been healed.
That his destiny had changed.
No longer a beggar at the gate.
And he hugged Peter and John and hung on.
Sometimes we need someone to hug and hang on to...
Peter was always pointing to Jesus, who had changed his ultimate destiny, no longer a beggar, an outcast, so hang on to Him, the one who truly is Beautiful.

Genesis 15.8-18.ESV But he said O Lord God , how am I to know that I shall possess it? ...When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces. On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram... March 15 was the last day we looked at Abram's story...he was questioning God and this is God's response...sacrifices and smoke and fire and a covenant...a promise... Isn't that what we crave for sometimes? God, if only you'd just show me smoke & fire, a burning bush a sign, miracle, healing...then all my questions would disappear...all my doubts would be gone... 2moro we'll see Abram's response but I think God values our faith in spite of our questions and doubts. That we choose Him anyway #faith
