While the man held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them...

Just a glimpse of the emotion that must've been flowing thru him as he realised he'd been healed.
That his destiny had changed.
No longer a beggar at the gate.
And he hugged Peter and John and hung on.
Sometimes we need someone to hug and hang on to...
Peter was always pointing to Jesus, who had changed his ultimate destiny, no longer a beggar, an outcast, so hang on to Him, the one who truly is Beautiful.
