All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness...
2 Timothy 3:16 NIV
These are words that are all about change.
A fave verse is 1 Cor 13 - love is patient, kind, keeps no record of wrongs...
I can read that as nice words or as Paul suggests here to teach me, correct, train me...
Love is patient. Could I have shown more patience today?
How about kindness?
Or keeping a record of wrongs against me (I'm so good at this tho...)
As we meditate on His Word we see not just our shortfall, but God's grace. We can't ever get all of this all right all the time.
Then if we read the OT stories of God at work we see His patience, His kindness, & we see His grace...
In Jesus we see patience, kindness- & he died to expunge my records of wrongs...took it on himself. That's grace
So will I read God's word allowing it to change me?

Not only that but Jesus was somehow the agent of everything that has been made in the physical, social, and spiritual. Jesus is at the centre of it all. Walking around Jesus. Cooking fish for breakfast Jesus. Heart aching as he ...
