This isn't really about food is it...but maybe it is about our appetites.
If our only satisfaction is found in the pleasures of this world...if we're only living to please ourselves...there is never enough.
"I'll be happy when..." doesn't actually work. When we get "it" it's not long til the satisfaction fades and we want more...
Paul knew in Phil 4 about the secret of being content.
If our hearts are oriented towards God and our lives towards others...then we start to need less. Whether we have plenty or little, our hearts can be content...
