Jesus said to them,
"Come and have breakfast."
None of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord.
Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.
John 21:12-13 NIV
Was the ressurected Jesus hinting that the new heaven & new earth won't be too different from the original?
Was the ressurected King modeling kingdom values and serving?
Was he suggesting that a power breakfast is a good thing?
Or simply that sharing food together, fellowship together is a good thing... I'm sure that Paul if he could would be all over Facebook, tweeting and snapchatting his prison food... using every piece of tech to get the good news out...
But Jesus is a face-to-face guy.
Lets have breakfast. I'm cooking.
Let's meet.
Sit down...
what can I get you?
just breathe
I'm on your team
I love you
lets talk...

Genesis 15.8-18.ESV But he said O Lord God , how am I to know that I shall possess it? ...When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces. On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram... March 15 was the last day we looked at Abram's story...he was questioning God and this is God's response...sacrifices and smoke and fire and a covenant...a promise... Isn't that what we crave for sometimes? God, if only you'd just show me smoke & fire, a burning bush a sign, miracle, healing...then all my questions would disappear...all my doubts would be gone... 2moro we'll see Abram's response but I think God values our faith in spite of our questions and doubts. That we choose Him anyway #faith
