Like a light on my path God's word gives direction, lights the way to our ultimate destination...whether it's the Big Story of God thru history, the grace and forgiveness found in Jesus... the personal reflections found in psalms etc etc there is light for our path, no matter that mine is different to yours, the living word gives light to all of us.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
