This proverb describes countless people's experience when they have done something generous, but been blessed even more...given time, money, resources skills... given without thought of reward or return, yet blessed and encouraged...
Every time you invest in the lives of others you gain something... not something you can put your finger on...
And even when we have nothing to give, we can give a smile, a warm greeting, a listening heart, a gentle touch.
In God's economy wealth and poverty are not measured by money...

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
