While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples,
"Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick..."

Being in a christian community is a good thing, part of an active church, cos we need that, & we learn there, get strength & courage there, & maybe in that community are those who need Jesus, but...if Jesus came & hung out with, had dinner with, those who didn't know him, those who needed to know him, maybe I should be doing that too...

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
