As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth.
"Follow me",
he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.

Was there more to this story?
Or was it as simple as that?
Follow me.
Jesus is simple, straight forward...no obscure stories...just...follow me.
Sometimes we make Christianity so complicated...but really it's just "follow me"
Simply follow Jesus today.

Do you wonder about the back story? Are these the same 4 people who bring this man food? Take him to the toilet every day. Clean him up. Does he live with one of them? Are they family? Are there whole families or groups of people in the background who have supported and cared for this man? A group of children who grew up seeing their parents love in action? Probably.
