About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "
Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?"
(which means "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" ).
Matthew 27:46 NIV
Cried out here has the meaning of an intensely heartfelt cry up to the maximum...Jesus was screaming at God at his abandonment...
Yet he chose it...Chose this path because it would make a way for us.
And He knows how we feel...when we're feeling lost, abandoned, betrayed, hurt...broken.
So we can follow his lead and cry out to God, knowing that Jesus has been there before us and will walk with us in our journey...with the hope that easter Sunday brings...

Joseph replied..."Dont you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now - life for many people..." Genesis 50:19-20 MSG The view from the drone. The different perspective. "God has been at work in my life despite, in fact within the hatred that you had towards me. Even though I couldn't always see it, I kept trusting Him, even when He was silent, when all hope seemed lost... God was at work... Can you see that now?" #faith #faithinthedark
