The Psalmist (not sure who wrote this) wants to feel God close at hand...wants to be wrapped in a warm embrace by God...wants to share the warmth of a meal together, wants to know they're loved...just like us...
The Psalmist knows God's word and believes it. He or she knows the truth of it...but doesn't always feel it...just like us...
You and I are God's hands and feet in this world and it's us that needs to be and share those things in the lives of others...
The writer simply asks. God I want to feel you near...

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
