Tim Keller wrote a little book based around this passage called "the art of self-forgetfulness".

When it comes to our identity we don't have to be concerned about the judgement of others or even ourselves, there is no condemnation for those who are in Jesus, the self-condemnation is not needed, we can, in freedom, get on with life without the weight of what others think (or what we think others think) of us. When it comes to our identity, the courtroom is closed. 

We don't think less of ourselves, just think of ourselves less. 

The gospel of Jesus allows you to become all you were designed to be, the freedom to step into becoming that person, simply following Jesus, loving God, loving people...

Is that easy?

Maybe some days. 

And other days not.

So let's keep taking small steps in the right direction, together...
