Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
Proverbs 16:24 NIV
The soul, the body, & the mind. Interesting how the Bible sees them as all connected...

Our words have impact.

Second interesting thing about this proverb is that its not specific about who is impacted.
The speaker or the hearer.

Is it the words we hear that bring healing and life, or the words we say?

Could it be both?

Lord, help me today to choose words that speak life, courage, goodness, grace and love.
Thanks.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
