Better to live humbly with the poor than to share plunder with the proud.
Proverbs 16:19 NLT
Who do we choose to live with?
The poor, the afflicted, the lowly, the humble, or, the lofty, the arrogant, the proud.
Who did Jesus hang out with? The proud? Those on a self salvation project?
Or the poor, the prostitutes, the sick...those in need of a saviour...
I wonder if Jesus came to my town if he'd stay at my house? Which group would he see me in?
Proud of how good I am, busy with my self salvation project?
Or poor, afflicted, but saved by grace?
Jesus chose Better.
Better for us.
He chose to join us, to live with the poor, the afflicted, and to make a way...to be the way (And he came for the proud too...)
Jesus chose Better
Better for us, but at what cost to Him?

Not only that but Jesus was somehow the agent of everything that has been made in the physical, social, and spiritual. Jesus is at the centre of it all. Walking around Jesus. Cooking fish for breakfast Jesus. Heart aching as he ...
