Two blind men were sitting by the roadside...
The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"
Matthew 20:30-31 NIV
The word for Lord here is:
kyrios - a person exercising absolute ownership rights;
Even though they could not see, the blind men recognised Jesus for who he really was.
Sometimes we just want to see Jesus. Then our faith would really be firmed up.
Somehow, through what they'd been told (there's no mention of angels or any special revelation) they knew Jesus was the one to call Lord, Master, the one to give allegiance to, and the one to call on.
Today, we who can see, just need to call on Jesus, and come under his ownership...

Joseph replied..."Dont you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now - life for many people..." Genesis 50:19-20 MSG The view from the drone. The different perspective. "God has been at work in my life despite, in fact within the hatred that you had towards me. Even though I couldn't always see it, I kept trusting Him, even when He was silent, when all hope seemed lost... God was at work... Can you see that now?" #faith #faithinthedark
