Jesus had just been baptised, the door between Heaven and Earth was opened, the Holy Spirit descended like a dove, and God the Father spoke endorsing Jesus...a real "mountain top" experience if ever there was one... and the very next thing, the very next thing, Jesus is in the wilderness...
Sometimes this happens with us too, we have a spiritual experience, a "win" in our lives, and the next thing we're feeling alone, isolated, unsupported, lost, with no resources... everyone else is more interested in other things... we're in the Wilderness.
But who is there with Jesus?
The Spirit is there with him, and when we find ourselves in the wilderness...He is with us.
He is with you.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
