The Good News is about his Son. In his earthly life he was born into King David's family line, and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 1:3-4 NLT
Paul starts his letter with who he is, then gives us with absolute clarity, so there can be no mistake...who Jesus is.
Jesus the man who came from human royalty, who is also God's son, the one who was raised from the dead.
Fully human.
Fully God.
The trinity of God revealed.
The power of the Holy Spirit shown.
Jesus.
Paul's Lord.
The same one we call Lord, the same one we come together to worship.
The same one who was there at creation, who became redemption, and who's purpose is restoration...
No matter what we face, it's Jesus we choose to follow, who we choose to call Lord...
