Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord ; Lord, hear my voice...
...with you there is forgiveness...
I wait for the Lord , my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope...
(your name), put your hope in the Lord , for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. He himself will redeem (your name)...

What was the exchange? Jesus was the exchange that redeemed me

Freely
You gave it all for us
Surrendered Your life upon that cross
Great is Your love
Poured out for all
This is our God

Lifted on high from death to life
Forever our God is glorified
Sovereign King
Rescued the world
This is our God

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
