Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news:
I have seen the Lord!...
Mary Magdalene. Why did Jesus choose her as the first messenger of the good news?
A person from the support team not the leadership team, not a pillar of the community, a woman (men had the social and legal standing in the culture), someone accused of mental health issues...Jesus says it doesn't matter who you are, or what you've done, my salvation is not based on your background, social standing, position, wealth, attainments, record, or performance. It's my work that saves you.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
