Psalm 130:1-2, 5 NIV

Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord ; Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy...
I wait for the Lord , my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope

This has been written by someone who knows what it is to suffer...hurt, loss, grief, rejection...but feeling unheard... waiting... wanting an answer... my whole being waits - life is on hold - & it seems God is not hearing me...
and then "in his word I put my hope"
His word tells me God is for me
He made the way
I have been redeemed
I am loved
I belong
One day all will be made new
In this I put my hope.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
