Matthew 11:28-30 NLT part 2

Then Jesus said,
Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls

Yoke.
a wooden crosspiece that is fastened over the necks of two animals and attached to the plough or cart that they are to pull.

Jesus is asking us to join with him, to work with him, as we go about the ordinary day-to-day stuff of life.
He asks us to let him teach us.
And he'll do it gently.
A process that takes time as we walk with him, talk, read the Word, & as we experience his gentle encouragement, we will get that deep inner peace.
